"As an artisan, my inclination is to make beauty and explore materials for the joy of working with them and the challenge of expressing what I want to say. As I get older, an added layer is that I want to 'help make the world a more beautiful place'. What does this mean? (I have been doing this for a long time.) Yet, now I am focusing on communicating this alongside my art. We are guests in this beautiful world. Contributing to ours and other's thriving... this a fulfilling gift... one which nourishes all."
